Valentina Balzarini

I am a Behavioural Ecologist interested in how environmental factors and their selective pressures shape individuality in animals, with a special focus on the effects of inter- and intra- specific interactions.

 

I think science cannot exist without communication, firstly with other scientists - new ideas, after all, come from confronting different ways of thinking. I believe encouraging discussion and critique is essential to teach good scientific practice, and to support curious, unafraid minds.
