Art has always been my second passion, the result of great teachers and of carefully trading zoo visits against museum visits on family holidays. Like many other biologists, I also like to dabble a bit in drawing and photography during my free time, and keep sneaking doodles into presentations, papers, and every scientific output I produce.

I believe that phylosophy, the arts and science share the same drive, the same joy.  We all live a life of discovery. Most importantly, we are all asking the same kind of questions, and trying to answer them from different perspectives. We interrogate ourselves about the world, about human nature. A lot of the concepts studied by science can easily be seen through a different lens.

In this spirit, I am open to collaborating with artists, photographers, musicians, dancers, writers, curators, and any other creative spirit who shares an interest for discovery.
